Abstract
In order to determine proreinuria selecr•iry index in adult, 50 muients of different eyes of primary glomendonephritis were studied fmesangial proliferative glomendonephritis (Mes. PGN) membranous nephropathy (MN) • 10, focal segmental glomendosclerosis IFSGS) • 10, membranoproliferative glomendonephritis (MPGN)- 10 and t i iMal change disease (MCD) — 101. All the patients had normal renal finterion, were rionnotensitc and had nephrotic range proreimiria. Selectivity hula were calculated by measuring the ratio between the clearance of 1gC with that of transferria Ir Was found that 60% of MCD were highly selective and on the other hand no one of MPGN were highly selective. Highly selective cases were found in different numbers in other cases like 40% in mesangial proliferative type, 20% in membranous nephropathy and 10% in focal segmental glonieridosclecosis. This study suggests that, in adult primary glomendonephrities, lrrgirly selective cases are present nibs* in minimal change disease (MCD).
