Duodenal Tuberculosis Presenting as Gastric Outlet Obstruction

Abstract

A ease of duodenal tuberculosis is presented. The case had basses of gastric males obstruction. Endarropy showed both she stomach and duodenum dilated and features of duodena's and gastritis. &tdoscopic biopsy showed no abnormality. Histopathological diagnosis of tuberculosis was made after raking nodular tissue from the sermal wan of the duodenum and a mesenteric lymph node. Duodenal nibeiTalosis should be considered in patients presenting wish gastric motet obstruction especially in areas where mberodosis is endemic.
